Fusion – Painting Meets Projection

Fusion is an installation that blends painting with video projection, turning canvases into hybrid surfaces — territories of exploration where projected images interact with the painted matter.
This work challenges traditional perceptions of an artwork. The projection is not merely decorative; it questions the very nature of the painting. The piece creates bridges between the tangible and the digital, the static and the dynamic, contemplation and action, visual art and immersive experience.
Designed to evolve and adapt to the surfaces it inhabits, Fusion transforms with each canvas. Every stretcher frame — with its unique dimensions, textures, and materials — becomes an opportunity to reinterpret the core idea. The current presentation is just one of many possible iterations.
As the medium changes, so does the dialogue between image and material. This opens the door to a multiplicity of forms, colors, and narratives — making each version as unique as the canvas that hosts it. The work remains alive, constantly reinventing itself, offering a fresh experience with every new interpretation.
